Sometimes the best things in life happen by accident. That’s exactly how I ended up joining the rock band Trekhaak.
I stumbled upon the band by chance, sent them a quick email, and the very next day I was on the phone with their bassist. Not long after, we scheduled a first jam session to see if there was a spark... and HELL YES, there absolutely was! The vibe was right, the energy was high, and the band was immediately convinced by my drumming.
Things moved fast from there. Two shows came in right away, and within a short time I learned a full 13-song setlist and settled into the band’s groove. The response to those first gigs was incredibly positive, which only fueled our excitement even more. I’m sharing a few photos here, and you’ll find more pictures and videos on Trekhaak’s socials.
Trekhaak already has a debut EP out on Spotify, and we’re currently hard at work recording new material. A fresh single is on the horizon, and I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us.
Meanwhile, I’m continuing to drum with my other band, One Zillion Decibels. Things may seem a bit quieter online for OZD right now, but behind the scenes we’re putting in serious hours on our first full-length album. More updates on that soon.
Plenty of music, plenty of noise, and plenty to look forward to.
